Associate Experimental Biologist

Cameron is a Computational Biologist responsible for generating insights from in-house data. He joined CoSyne as a wet-lab scientist in 2022, transitioning to bioinformatics full-time in 2024. Cameron holds a degree in Biochemistry from the University of Surrey and has a background in Biophysics and Cell biology. He has dedicated more than seven years to adult and children’s brain tumour research using experimental and computational methods, most recently developing models of rare paediatric brain tumour subtypes at the University of Cambridge/CRUK Children’s Brain Tumour Center of Excellence. Prior to CoSyne, Cameron developed image analysis software for the first confocal whole-slide scanner on the market in collaboration with 3DHISTECH. He has also designed software tools for processing OCTA data for the Ophthalmology Clinic at the University of Debrecen Teaching Hospital. Cameron is driven by the belief that we can cure brain cancer in our lifetime.
