Abbi is a Scientist at CoSyne, where she is responsible for target validation and assay development supporting therapeutic discovery in glioblastoma. She holds a PhD in Biology from the University of Durham, where she investigated the molecular mechanisms of ageing. She brings experience across academia, biotech, and pharmaceutical R&D, contributing to multiple stages of the drug discovery pipeline from early target validation through to lead optimisation and candidate nomination. She is passionate about translating biological insight into therapeutic strategies and is driven by the urgent need to develop new treatments for glioblastoma, a disease with profound unmet clinical need.
