Dorota is an Associate Experimental Biologist at CoSyne Therapeutics, where she works with primary Glioblastoma cell cultures and supports drug screening programmes aimed at identifying biomarker-guided opportunities for drug repurposing. She is also involved in assay optimisation and the implementation of new experimental systems. Her research interests include advanced cell culture approaches, such as GBM organoid models, to better replicate tumour biology and evaluate therapeutic responses. Dorota is driven by the limited treatment options currently available for GBM patients and is motivated to apply emerging technologies to help improve patient outcomes. She holds an MSc in Cancer Biology from Cardiff University, where her research project investigated the effects of key tumour microenvironment proteins in glioblastoma and contributed to the development of an assay framework to assess their scavenging by hydrogels.
