Lauren Gould
Associate Experimental Biologist
Lauren is an Associate Experimental Biologist, responsible for exploring the genetic drivers of brain tumours through molecular and cellular biology. Her work includes the development of inducible CRISPRi systems for target validation and the screening of candidate molecules through phenotypic and genetic assays. She brings molecular biology expertise from her Masters degree in Biology at the University of Nottingham, where she specialised in synthetic biology and CRISPR-based genome engineering, conducting research to investigate synthetic lethality and gene essentiality. She is deeply committed to advancing research that could improve treatments for brain tumours, an area of science she finds especially meaningful.
